On February 16th, United employee Li Miao revealed that the jersey that used to be displayed in the dressing room of the Chinese national team has now entered the halls of the United Museum along with Chinese star Dong Fangzhuo, who has played for United.

Recalling the first time he stepped into the club's museum, Dong lamented, "I remember feeling that the imprints of Chinese culture were quite scarce at that time, and I could almost exhaust them with one hand. And today, I have finally fulfilled a wish that I have had for a long time after working at Manchester United."

Back in January 2004, at the age of 19, he joined Manchester United for a transfer fee of £3.5 million, a move that attracted a lot of attention in the soccer world at the time. He then went on loan to Antwerp in the Belgian second division, where he was honored as the top scorer for his outstanding performance. However, unfortunately, injuries and other factors prevented Dong's career from reaching the expected heights and he eventually announced his retirement in 2016.

On the international stage, Dong Fangzhuo played alongside the national team in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He scored the first goal in Olympic history for China against New Zealand, which became the only goal in Chinese Olympic soccer history.
