Dalian Shide Glory Years

In the fifth round of the AA League on April 7, 2002, Dalian Shide beat Qingdao Yizhong Hainiu by a thrilling 2-1 score. In the 68th minute, Jangovic sealed the score with a penalty kick created by himself, which was also his maiden goal scored in Dalian. On that day, An Qi was bloodied on the field of play, and referee Tan Hai's call caused a furor.

On November 24 of the same year, in the 29th round of the AA League, Dalian Shide beat Beijing Guoan 2-1 at home, laying the foundation for a third consecutive championship. Jan Govic's goal in the 36th minute extended the score to 2-0, setting up a great victory for the championship.

After the game, Jangovic celebrated the victory with his teammates. The picture shows a large crowd, if you don't know it, leave a message and ask. In his first season in China's top soccer league, Jangovic was honored as the best foreigner.

On July 30, 2003, Dalian Shide won a 4-1 victory over Northwest Wolves Shaanxi Guoli at home, and Jangovic scored a hat-trick, which was his first time after joining Dalian Shide. On August 30 of the same year, in the semi-final of the AFC Champions League, Dalian Shide narrowly won 4-3 over the UAE powerhouse Al Ain, but could not help but defeat the Black Whistle 2-4 on the road in the first round, and the total score of 6-7 did not qualify for the final.

On October 23, 2005, in the 24th round of the Chinese Super League, Dalian Shide beat Wuhan Huanghelou 2-0 at home to win the title two rounds ahead of schedule. Jangovic scored a penalty kick in the 60th minute and celebrated with his teammates. After the match, Jangovic displayed the Vulcan Cup with Brazilian left back Andersen and Serbian player Panta. That season, he was once again honored as the league's best foreigner and became the Premier League's assists leader.

On November 20, 2005, Dalian Shide beat Shandong Luneng 1-0 in the final of the Chinese Football Association Cup to become double champions. After the match, Jangovic was honored with an exhaustive award.

On November 14, 2007, in the last round of the Chinese Super League, Dalian Shide narrowly won 3-2 at home against Qingdao, and Jan Govich's last game on behalf of Dalian. After the match, General Manager Li Ming presented him with a trophy and a commemorative jersey, and took pictures with his teammates.
