Beijing Guoan, the prestigious Chinese Super League powerhouse, has recently suffered an unprecedented crisis. A poorly performing foreign aid, actually disdain for Guoan, even unwilling to step into the bench half a step!
Beijing Guoan, Shanghai Shenhua and Shandong Taishan have a long history and together they make up the top league of Chinese soccer. Since its establishment in 1992, Guoan has gone through 31 years of spring and autumn, and has repeatedly shown the posture of asking for the title, but has never been able to win the league crown, until 2009 ushered in the championship moment.
The pursuit of the championship never stops, Guoan, under the tutelage of successive managers, has continued to bring in top foreign aid, striving to dominate in the era of gold-dollar soccer. Brazilian international Augusto and a host of other high-level players have played for Guoan, however, the strong rise of Guangzhou Evergrande has made Guoan's road to the title increasingly difficult.
With the end of the golden dollar soccer era, Guangzhou Evergrande has been relegated to the Central League, and Beijing Guoan has rekindled its hopes of winning the championship. However, the team's strength is not what it used to be, and despite bringing in famous coaches and signing well-known foreign aiders, the results never improved, and the 2023 season ended with a sixth-place finish.
On April 15, 2022, Croatian foreign aid Daburo joined Guoan, but in the first stage of the league with another foreign aid Adebenelo only contributed one goal. Although Adeben Lo did not score, but its impact in front of the field to win the praise of the fans, while Dabrow is therefore burdened with the name of "water goods".
Dabrow due to poor performance, was Xie Feng master abandoned, only to get the following bench. The Croatian soccer genius joined Guoan after even reduced to marginal characters, last season was even loaned to the Latvian league.
In Latvia, Dabrow's performance is still in the doldrums, scoring only 2 goals throughout the season, and they are not key goals. Nevertheless, Guoan still hoped to recall him after the expiration of the loan period, giving him a chance to prove himself. However, surprisingly, Dabrow refused to return and instead commissioned his agent to look for a European team, preferably from Croatia.
For Beijing Guoan, this is certainly a punch in the gut. A player who couldn't become a starter in either league has turned his nose up at Guoan and refused to return. It's hard to understand where Dabrow got such confidence from. A player who couldn't get a foothold in either the Chinese Super League or the Latvian League, how could he dare to look down on Guoan?
