The FA's audits are grim, and it's hard for Premier League teams to escape?
What is the FA's attitude to this review? Of the 50 clubs that applied, only 42 passed the review, while the remaining eight failed to pass, which is staggering, and two Chinese Super League clubs were even more unfortunate to be on the list!
According to the Beijing Youth Daily, 50 clubs from different levels of professional leagues submitted their entry audits to the Football Association. As a result, only 42 clubs passed the first round of audits, while the remaining 8 failed. These 8 clubs include not only 2 Super League teams, but also 4 First Division and 2 Second Division teams.
There are six teams in the Northern Super League, including Beijing Guoan, Changchun Yatai, Tianjin Jinmen Tigers, Cangzhou Lions, Qingdao West Coast and Qingdao Sea Bulls. Among them, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger is the first to be ruled out due to restructuring and the need to replace foreign aid; Changchun Yatai is stable without rumors of salary arrears and is relatively safe; and the two Qingdao teams are not in any trouble either. The two Qingdao teams are also in the clear. The newly promoted teams are less likely to be relegated, and the teams that have changed their managers have fewer problems.
A deeper analysis reveals that Beijing Guoan and Cangzhou Lions are still in the running. Cangzhou Lions due to rumors of salary arrears led to the departure of Kante, financial problems highlighted; Beijing Guoan is surprising, the 31-year-old club in the share reform through the trials and tribulations, and ultimately retained the "Beijing Guoan" as the gold standard.
Beijing Guoan's pursuit of victory and repeated changes of manager failed to continue the splendor, and the team gradually lost its style and failed to reach the AFC Champions League for two consecutive seasons. Last season's survival was difficult, and this season there are even rumors of salary arrears, which is a cause for concern. If Beijing Guoan is included, the northern teams will face serious challenges.
Beijing Youth Daily reports that if the northern team is really facing an existential crisis, it will be a reflection of the seriousness with which the Chinese Football Association treats its affairs, no matter who the target is, and it needs to be taken seriously.
Although the eight clubs failed the access audit, they still have the opportunity to resubmit their materials, provided they resolve wage arrears and historical issues. If Beijing Guoan also fails, it will be further proof of the seriousness of the FA.
