On December 18, the Croatian soccer world ushered in heavy news, Osijek team midfield core Ivan Fioric is about to step into the Chinese Super League stage. Tianjin Jinmen Tigers officially announced that the 27-year-old star will wear the team's uniform.

The move marks the first official reinforcement of the new Chinese Super League season. The Osijek club's announcement showed that Fioric has terminated his contract with the team and joined Tianjin Teda as a free agent.

Talking about joining the Zim Tigers, Fiorici said, "I signed a two-year deal with the team and started assembling from January 3rd. My goal is to be able to play there for a longer period of time, beyond the duration of my contract."

At just 27 years old, Croatian midfielder and product of the Dinamo Zagreb youth academy, Ivan Fioric has moved around the country in his career, playing for clubs such as Dinamo Zagreb, Lokomotiv Zagreb, Henck, Larnaca and Krakowija.He joined Osijek as a free agent in the summer of 2021, and has so far made 15 appearances, contributing two goals and one assist. He is currently valued at €850,000 on the market.

Despite having played as part of Croatia's national team at U21 and below level, Fioric has so far failed to represent the adult national team.
