The latest news reveals that on December 8, China's soccer career ushered in an important moment - the fourth CFA C-level coaches (Qingdao) training course in Qingdao Football Management Center grand opening, the scene gathered a lot of soccer elites, including the Qingdao Sea Cow team two senior players Jiang Ning and Zheng Long.
The names of Jiang Ning and Zheng Long are listed in the official list of participants of the training course released by the Qingdao Football Association. The training course will last for two weeks, starting from December 8th and ending on December 21st. Participants will go through a series of theoretical and practical courses and undergo a rigorous assessment. Those who pass the assessment will receive a C-level coaching license issued by the CFA.
It is worth mentioning that the grade certificate system for soccer coaches consists of five grades from low to high, namely, Grade D, Grade C, Grade B, Grade A and Professional Grade. Coaches with D-level certificates can devote themselves to youth soccer training; C-level certificates give coaches the right to coach amateur soccer teams; B-level coaches can coach teams below the second tier of professional clubs; A-level certificates mean that coaches have the qualification of coaching professional clubs; and coaches with professional-level certificates can coach teams in the top leagues. It is worth mentioning that since 2010, head coaches in the Chinese Super League and the First Division have been required to hold a C-level certificate; and since 2017, head coaches participating in the AFC Champions League have been required to have this certificate as well.
