Our soccer team will welcome Tajikistan in their debut Asian Cup match. The opponents have announced a 27-member selected squad, with as many as 10 overseas players and four naturalized players joining them.

This time around, Tajikistan's roster includes all 24 players from the previous 36-team roster from November, with three new additions - defender Imonazarov, midfielder Shukurov and Tusunov - who will bring new energy to the team.

In this list, 10 overseas players are scattered around the globe, such as 21-year-old shot-stopper Soylov who plays in the Uzi A, 22-year-old Samiev who is showing his talent in the Moore United, and 29-year-old Umarbayev who is showing his midfield prowess in the Bohol League. Notably, domestic giants Dushan Independence are joined by Kamolov and Pan Ishambet, as well as veteran A. Galilov, whose experience in the AFC Champions League this year has certainly added to the team's color. The Russian naturalized players Jalilov and Umarbayev will also be on the field for Tajikistan.

Tajikistan's training program is divided into two phases, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with the aim of improving the team's form through warm-up matches. Coach Shergot plans to schedule at least three warm-up matches, with Hong Kong, China, now confirmed as a potential opponent for the first match.
