"Looking back to 2012, it has been 11 years since then. At that time, most of the retired players came from the A-A era. Nowadays, there are more and more retired players from the Chinese Super League, and few of them are involved in the A-League. Therefore, we renamed the tournament 'Legacy' in order to contribute to the continued development of the tournament."

"Legacy means taking in new blood, such as players like Lin Miao, who joined our family after retiring last year and the year before.
