
Yosuke Kashiwagi, the former Japanese soccer star, waved goodbye to the green field on December 5, the 35-year-old midfield elite, who led the team to the top of the Asian Cup and the AFC Champions League.
Yosuke Kashiwagi was born on December 15, 1987 and plays firmly in the midfield. He started his career with Sanfrecce Hiroshima, then moved to Urawa Red Diamonds in 2010, where he played until 2021, winning the AFC Champions League and Player of the Year in 2017.In 2021, Yosuke Kashiwagi joined Gifu FC in the J3 League, where he has played 24 matches so far this season, scoring a few goals but contributing two key assists.
Yosuke Kashiwagi made his debut for the Japanese national team in 2010, making 11 career appearances for his country, with the 2011 Asian Cup title also on his honor roll. In that tournament, he made only one appearance, but left a deep mark.
