Liu Qian of Evergrande Soccer School disclosed the latest development of the school's players' overseas studies, pointing out that the school is gradually shifting from collective overseas studies to individual players' study abroad programs, in which the mode of "half overseas and half domestic" is particularly prominent.

Hu Bin from the Shandong Football Management Center shared the progress of the Shandong Football Association's teams and tournaments, and revealed the challenges of local youth soccer development.

Ma Baogang, youth training director of Shandong Taishan Football Club, pointed out that the home-and-away system of matches will become a future trend and suggested that restrictions on young players should be relaxed to promote their growth. At the same time, he emphasized that youth teams should receive more support from professional leagues.

Hu Yijun, assistant principal of Luneng Soccer School, focused on the issue of youth selection, believing that the disconnection phenomenon in the primary school needs to be solved.

Han Peng, head coach of Shandong Taishan U19 team, called for more retired players with professional and national team experience to devote themselves to the field of youth coaching, and argued that Chinese soccer still needs to be meticulous in the cultivation of top athletes, emphasizing the importance of high-intensity training and suggesting that international exchanges should be strengthened.

Han Peng also pointed out the lack of quality in the first half of the tournament in 2023 and the intensive tournament in the second half of the year, calling on the FA to establish a better tournament system.

Gao Hong, director of youth training at Evergrande Soccer School, believes that young Chinese players lack in training motivation and emphasizes the need to improve the intensity and rhythm of training.

Gao Hong also mentioned the development of women's youth soccer, arguing that overseas university platforms are equally important and suggesting that the policy of participating in cross-gender platforms in foreign countries should be borrowed.

Yao Bo, Head Coach of Richeng No. 2 Girls' Soccer School, introduced the development of soccer at the school, emphasizing the development of technique, control and proper values, and focusing on the follow-up development of eliminated players.

There was a general consensus among the seminar participants that the development of technical and passing skills is crucial to youth soccer.

Song Kai, president of the CFA, expressed his gratitude to youth soccer workers at the symposium and promised that the federation would take up the responsibility of promoting the popularization and improvement of youth soccer, guaranteeing the training of coaches, and keeping an open attitude to connect with international soccer.

The meeting concluded that the establishment of a stable and orderly youth competition platform, the provision of more professional league platforms for youths, the strengthening of coach training, as well as the opening up of the introduction are the future direction of development.

Participants agreed that youth soccer teamwork needs to focus on hard training, high-intensity matches, solid skill development and pass control improvement.
