
In a foreign country, China, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic arrived at a hotel in Wangfujing, Beijing, on the night of October 17th, and had a warm meeting with Milorad Jankovic, the Serbian head coach of the Chinese men's soccer team, who had traveled all the way from Serbia. In the picture of the meeting, the two Serbian friends dressed in straight suits and wearing bright smiles, the joy between each other is overflowing, obviously, the joy of this reunion across thousands of mountains and miles.
At the end of the meeting, Jankovic generously presented Vucic with a special Chinese men's soccer jersey, No. 10, with Vucic's name embroidered on the jersey. Receiving this meaningful gift, Vucic couldn't help but smile with pleasure, this gift from a dear friend, undoubtedly makes him feel more warm and satisfied.
Vucic excitedly shared his feelings on his personal social media, "Thank you for the gift! There is always something unspeakably special about meeting these outstanding fellow Serbs around the world. This honor of this Serbian Mourinho, as the head coach of the Chinese national soccer team, is truly supreme!"
Yankovic, 51, born since 1972, was officially inaugurated in February 2023 as head coach of the Chinese men's soccer team. Since then, he has led the team in eight warm-up matches with a record of three wins, two draws and three losses, scoring 11 goals and conceding six. With the Chinese men's soccer team about to embark on their World Cup Asian qualifying campaign on Nov. 16, Jankovic and his team will face the challenge of the first round of the 36-team tournament, where they will face Thailand on the road.
