Wuxi Wu Hook Football Club issued a public statement today to protest the controversial goal incident that occurred in the 17th round of the League with Shanghai Jiading Huilong, and urged the Football Association to deal with the referee team involved seriously.
During the match, a Wuxi Wuhu player hit the crossbar of the goal and bounced into the net in the 48th minute, however, the referee, the side judge, and the fourth official failed to recognize the apparent goal.
Faced with this situation, Wuxi Wuhu officials immediately took out their cell phones and played a high-definition replay of the scoring moment in an attempt to convince the refereeing team, however, their efforts were mercilessly rejected.
Wuxi Wu Hook FC officially stated today that this misjudgment was not only serious but also appeared to be exceptionally low, and they strongly demanded that the Football Association penalize the on-duty referee team accordingly.
