
Chen Ning disclosed that former Guangzhou Evergrande player Situ Huarong's soccer career has come to an end. He had a heated clash with teammate Wang Junhui in a reserve match.
Back on April 9, 2018, Guangzhou Evergrande and Shandong Luneng played in the Chinese Super League reserve team league, and both sides were full of gunpowder. Evergrande team Wang Junhui and Situ Hua Long argued over the ownership of the ball, after the match, this pair of former comrades were both heavily punished by the Football Association, banned for 10 months and fined 200,000 yuan.
Chen Ning further revealed that 26-year-old Situ Huarong was plagued by injuries at the beginning of 2020 and experienced many twists and turns in his career, eventually choosing to retire. Now, he and Guangzhou Evergrande's former players have joined hands to establish a youth soccer club called "Star Sheng" in Heshun Town, Lishui, Nanhai, dedicated to cultivating new soccer stars.
