
With an announcement in the late afternoon of June 29th, FIFA unveiled the latest edition of its Global Football Power Ranking. In the list, the Chinese men's soccer team has made a leap in the rankings by defeating Myanmar and Palestine in warm-up matches, climbing to 79th place, and 11th place in the Asian region.
In a tightly contested Asian soccer field, Japan holds down the tenth spot in the Asian rankings, followed by Iran (22nd), Australia (27th), and South Korea (28th). And Saudi Arabia (53rd), Qatar (58th), Iraq (70th), the UAE (72nd), Oman (73rd) and Uzbekistan (74th) all have a place in the list as well.
