The Invitational Tournament is led by the CFA and co-organized by the Dalian Sports Bureau, the Dalian Urban Construction Investment Group, the Dalian Football Association and the Dalian Land Development Group, with the Ford Bao Soccer Industry Development Company taking on the role of promoting the tournament. According to the official information of the Football Association, the Barracuda Bay Football Stadium will usher in two heavyweight international A-grade matches: on June 16th, the Chinese team will compete with Myanmar; and on June 20th, China's opponent will be Palestine. The battle between China and Myanmar will undoubtedly be the opening of the Barracuda Bay Soccer Stadium after it is put into use.
Geng Shufeng, leader of Dalian Land Development Group, said in an interview that it was a great honor for Dalian to host the national team tournament. He emphasized that Dalian not only has the ability to host tournaments and soccer sentiment, but the Barracuda Bay Football Stadium also passed the engineering inspection at the end of last year and completed the professional acceptance in the first half of this year and put into use. Geng Shufeng also said that professional stadiums go hand in hand with professional soccer and professional teams. He mentioned that China has prepared 10 professional soccer stadiums for the Asian Cup, which will greatly benefit the improvement of soccer level and the training of professional teams. Dalian Yongxiang Sports Industry Development Co., Ltd. has become the only ticketing agent for this event.
