The battle is in full swing! On May 14th, the fifth round of the Central League saw four exciting matches, with Guangzhou's home match against Guangxi Pingguo attracting particular attention. However, Guangzhou met their Waterloo for the first time in the season, defeating Guangxi Pingguo by a score of 1-2, and are still without a win.

The game had its ups and downs. In the first half, both sides could not make any progress, although Liao Jintao's shot was high, but failed to break through the opponent's goal. In the second half, Fabricio showed his courage and An Yongjia scored a wonderful goal to give Guangxi Pingguo the lead. In extra time, Liu Langzhou pulled one back, but could not turn the game around. Guangzhou lost 1-2 and lost all five rounds of the league, ranking 13th in the table with 2 draws, 3 losses and 2 points, while Guangxi Pingguo ranked second with 3 wins, 2 draws and 11 points.

Brown was the center of attention in the match between Liaoning Shenyang City and Dandong Tengyue, scoring in the 10th and 27th minutes to help Dandong Tengyue finish off Liaoning Shenyang City with a 2-0 victory.

In the other match, Dongguan United and Shijiazhuang Kung Fu staged a goal battle. In extra time, Ogbu struck a killer blow to help Shijiazhuang Kung Fu beat Dongguan United 1-0 at home.

The match between Heilongjiang Bingcheng and Suzhou Dongwu was equally exciting. Fan Bojian and Tang Shi scored in the 27th and 44th minutes respectively to help Heilongjiang Bingcheng win 2-0 on the road.
