In the passionate battle between Qingdao Hainiu and Shanghai Seaport on the night of May 11, Zheng Long made his 300th career top-flight appearance at the age of 35 years old.
Zheng Long, a veteran on the pitch, made his 300th milestone last night in the Qingdao Sea Cow uniform, standing in the top flight for the first time as a debutant. He, the goal-scoring front-rower, scored 44 goals and finished 39th in the league.
Starting out with Qingdao Zhongneng (now Qingdao Hainiu), Zheng Long made his debut in the top flight in 2007. Since then, he has blossomed with Guangzhou Evergrande and Dalian (Dalian), with whom he has been crowned top of the Chinese Super League four times, and returned to Qingdao Hainiu for the 2022 season, where he scored 22 goals in the first division last season to help the team rise to the next level.
