Ye Lijiang's soccer career began in 2013, when he joined the Dongguan Ma Chung soccer team.In 2016, he was selected for the Guangdong Provincial Games ladder team and began his journey on the field, accumulating experience and building on his strengths.In 2018, he made a splash in the China Youth Super League (CYSL), contributing three key goals and four assists.
In the 2019 season, Ye Lijiang was promoted to the Shenzhen Football Reserve Team with his outstanding performance, and in the same year, he officially became a member of the Shenzhen first team. In July of the same year, he made his debut in the Chinese Super League, becoming the first Kazakhstani player in the history of the Super League. In the second half of the season, Ye Lijiang played 12 matches as a starting defender for Shenzhen, showing excellent defensive ability.
