On April 8, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) announced that the new season of the Chinese Super League (CSL) will be officially lit on April 15, until the curtain falls on November 4, and simultaneously announced a detailed schedule. The first match will be played at the Workers' Stadium in Beijing on the evening of April 15, when Beijing Guoan will face Meizhou Hakka in their home stadium. Meanwhile, at the Wuhan Sports Center, Wuhan Sanzhen will also face a strong Shanghai Seaport team, with the match scheduled to be played at 7:35 p.m. that night.
The return to a full home-and-away system for the new Chinese Super League season is expected to attract more fans to the stadiums to cheer on their favorite teams. According to the schedule, the new season will span eight months, during which the bottom three teams will play 21 rounds of seven matches. Meanwhile, taking into account the preparation needs of the national team, the league will take a short break in June, September and October to allow the national team to warm up on international match days.
Wuhan Sanzhen will have a tough start to the new season, as they will face the three teams that have brought in the most players this season in the first three rounds: on April 15 they will face Shanghai Harbor, on April 20 they will face Beijing Guoan, and on April 25 they will challenge Meizhou Hakka. It is worth mentioning that these three teams are not easy to deal with. In the pre-season warm-up matches, Wuhan Sanzhen team and Beijing Guoan, Meizhou Hakka team were tied, it is worth mentioning that Wuhan Sanzhen team will be in all three games at home. After two consecutive home games, they will be on the road to Meizhou Wuhua for the third round of matches.
The early part of the game was crucial for the Wuhan Three Towns team, and a good start would help them in their subsequent matches.
