Last season, the Chinese Super League ushered in four dark horses, with Wuhan Three Town resembling the miracle of Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga, Zhejiang winning the AFC Champions League in one fell swoop, and Chengdu Rongcheng and Meizhou Hakka rising to prominence. This season, although there are only three newcomers, the Kunshan team had no choice but to disband, while the performance of Qingdao Hainiu and Nantong Zhiyun is also eagerly awaited.

Qingdao Sea Cow's transfer winds are rising again, Qingdao Sea Cow is waving its money like gold, signing more than five foreign aiders in one breath, although all of them are exempted from signing, but their strength is not to be underestimated. In terms of internal reinforcements, Qingdao Hainiu also made a lot of moves, announcing the addition of four players, including Ma Xingyu, Xu Dong, Song Wenjie, Chen Chunxin and Zhong Jinbao, and new faces such as Zhang Wei, Long Wei, Fu Yuncheng and Liu Chaoyang are also on their way. Notably, 30-year-old Zhang Wei will be on loan from Chinese Super League giants Shanghai Harbor.

Zhang Wei, a 1.77-meter tall Shangqiu native from Henan province born in March 1993, plays as a wingback at the Shanghai Chongming Genbao Soccer School. He won the U20 boys' gold medal at the National Games on behalf of Shanghai, and was promoted to the first team of Shanghai Seaport at the age of 18. In the Chinese Super League, AFC Champions League and F.A.C.A. Cup, Zhang Wei made 106 appearances, contributing 3 goals and 8 assists, helping his team win the Chinese Super League title.

However, in recent seasons, Zhang Wei's form has declined due to injuries, and he has gradually been relegated to the fringe at Shanghai Seaports. In order to prevent him from wasting his time on the bench, Shanghai Seaports loaned him out to other Chinese Super League teams. Last year, he played 8 games for Tianjin Jinmen Tigers and contributed 2 assists.

Zhang Wei is an extremely hard-working player on the pitch, who possesses excellent physical ability and assisting talent, and has accumulated a wealth of experience in the Chinese Super League. For newly promoted Qingdao Hainiu, the signing of Zhang Wei is undoubtedly a wise choice. Currently, Zhang Wei is actively training with the team, trying to integrate into the team as soon as possible, hoping that in the new season, he can become the powerful wing assistant of Qingdao Hainiu, and help the team to create another success in the Chinese Super League.
