Brazilian media personality Felipe Silva has disclosed that Leonardo, a young foreigner in Shandong Taishan's squad who is just 25 years old, is about to move to Changchun Yatai, another Chinese Super League giants, on a short-term loan.
Leonardo's transfer is imminent and he will be offered another lease by Taishan, which in turn will join Changchun Yatai in the Chinese Super League. This contract only covers one season, leaving the São Paulo club to adjust its reinforcement strategy.
Leonardo has played for Shandong Taishan since the 2021 season, appearing in eight games, including four starts, and contributing one goal to the team. Last year, he played on loan for Ulsan Hyundai in South Korea, where he not only scored 14 goals, but also helped the team win the K-League title after 17 years.
