On March 25th, the "Referee Circle" platform unveiled the prospective referee training lineup for the 2023 Chinese Super League and Chinese League A. The list of 90 referees who will be tasked with the new season is clear. The list clearly lists 90 referees who will be responsible for the new season, including 43 Chinese Super League referees and 47 Chinese League One referees.
The list encompasses key roles such as technical directors, physical training instructors, league referee directors and assistant referees. The referee training course will kick off in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, from March 29 to April 3, where there will also be a farewell ceremony for the 10 referees who will retire in 2022.
A total of eight referees from Beijing have been selected for the new Chinese Super League referee training, including veterans such as Fu Ming and Guan Xing, as well as newcomer Chen Jindong. It is worth mentioning that Chen Jindong has mainly worked as a referee in the Central League before. Beijing Sports University's Ai Koon is also included.
Guangdong, Shanghai and Changchun also featured referees such as Gan Shuran and Jia Zhiliang. Chinese Super League regulars such as Ma Ning and Zhang Lei are also on the list. In addition, two new referees, Guizhou's Ma Yunkun and Henan's Shan Dan'ao, who have gained valuable experience in the Central League, are also in the spotlight.
The training of referees for the China League One also attracted a lot of talent, with Beijing having the most referees selected with five, and Shanghai having four referees. Other cities such as Chongqing, Jiangsu, Shenzhen, Shenyang and Tianjin also had three referees each.
