On March 20, Qingdao Zhigong Magazine's "Welcome to New Members" column published an article on the new member of 2022: Comrade Jiang Ning, detailing the illustrious career of this outstanding Qingdao athlete.

The article mentions that 37-year-old Jiang Ning, the midfield core and captain of the Qingdao Sea Bulls, will continue to shoulder a heavy responsibility in his parent team's journey back to the Chinese Super League, using his experience and strength to help the team achieve another successful season.

Born in 1986, Jiang Ning grew up in Qingdao and has excellent footwork and a broad vision, capable of playing in a number of forward positions. Since joining Qingdao Hainiu (formerly known as Qingdao Zhongneng) in 2004, he has had a stellar career, becoming the youngest record holder in Chinese league history with a hat-trick in 2006.

In 2011, Jiang Ning left his hometown to join Guangzhou (formerly known as Guangzhou Evergrande), where he contributed eight goals in an efficient performance despite not having many chances to make his debut in a high-level team.

In 2013, Jiang Ning moved to Guangzhou City (formerly known as Guangzhou R&F), Hebei (formerly known as Hebei Huaxia Happiness), and Taizhou Yuanda (now defunct), among others, before returning to Qingdao Hainiu at the end of the 2020 season, where he helped the team move up from the Second Division to the Chinese Super League.

In the 2022 season, Jiang Ning was an integral part of the team's impressive performance in the First Division, making 28 appearances and 25 starts, scoring 3 goals and assisting 4 times. Qingdao Hainiu finished second in that season with 23 wins, 7 draws and 4 losses, scoring 77 goals and conceding 24, realizing their goal of reaching the Super League ahead of schedule.

In Qingdao Zhigong's report, Jiang Ning was praised as a key figure in the team's run to the first division and the Super League, and his return and outstanding performance not only responded to Qingdao's citizens' expectations, but also greatly enhanced the city's cohesion.

With Qingdao Hainiu returning to the Chinese Super League, Jiang Ning and his team are about to meet new challenges. In the new season, the team has brought in a number of powerful foreign aiders and potential players, which requires Jiang Ning, as the captain, not only to play the leadership, but also to assist the coaching team to build a united, hard-working team, and strive to achieve better results.
