In the afternoon, the third Shanghai Youth Football Club U17 League final was held between Shenhua A and Lucky Star A. The final was a 2-1 victory for Shenhua A with goals from Li Ke and Shen Yu. In the end, with the goals of Li Ke and Shen Yu, Lucky Star A team won the championship by 2-1 against Shenhua A team.
Coach Ye Zhanggen, who guided Shanghai Shenhua's A-team to the title, has a team that has already won the elite boys' U17 division of the Shanghai Youth Club League in 2021. The tournament, originally scheduled to conclude at the end of 2022, has been postponed until after the Spring Festival due to the epidemic.
Looking back, Shenhua A and Lucky Star U17A coached by Chen Qiyuan had a meeting in the third round, which resulted in a narrow 2-1 win for Shenhua U17A. In the U17 category, Shanghai Jiading Huilong A team managed to beat Shanghai Port to win the third place. While Shanghai Shenhua B team coached by Xu Yibin finished fifth.

In January, Shenhua's first team selected goalkeepers from the ladder in preparation for the FA Cup. Two young goalkeepers, Wang Jie and Wang Shihan, made their debuts in the U17 group.
The groupings of the Youth Club League are meticulous. Shenhua sent a number of ladder teams including U12, U13 and U14 to participate in the competition.
