A little over a month ago (January 30, 2023), the head of FIFA, Mr. Infantino, personally wrote to Mr. Chen Xuyuan, the President of China's Football Association (CFA), to present a congratulatory letter full of joy and praise to congratulate Wuhan Sanzhen on winning the 2022 Chinese Super League title.
In the letter, Mr. Infantino expressed his heartfelt congratulations and spoke highly of the fighting spirit, high morale and selfless dedication shown by the three Wuhan towns. At the same time, he did not forget to thank Mr. Chen Xuyuan and the CFA for their outstanding contribution to the flourishing development of regional soccer.
In the 2022 season, Wuhan Sanzhen entered the Chinese Super League as a promoted horse, and with the indomitable fighting spirit of a newborn calf, they stood out in the fierce competition and won the Chinese Super League trophy for the first time. This feat not only accomplished the "Three Towns Miracle" (three consecutive years in the lower league, 2020-2022), but also wrote a colorful chapter in the history of soccer in Hubei, becoming the first Chinese men's soccer champion in the top league.
