
In the early morning hours of February 6, the Turkish land was rocked by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake at the coordinates of 37.15 degrees north latitude and 36.95 degrees east longitude, with a depth of only 20 kilometers.
In this disaster, women's international soccer player Li Jiayue personally felt the fear of shaking, she shared on microblogging when the earthquake occurred the thrill: "Sleeping, the hotel shook as if the end of the world, I woke up in a panic, slippers can not care about wearing, ran to the teammates."
While another study abroad international footballer, Wu Shaochong, took to social media platforms to report his safety: "Fortunately, the epicenter is far away from me, unhurt, thanks for everyone's concern."
Earlier this year, Li Jiayue joined the Galatasaray women's soccer team in Turkey to start her study abroad career. When the earthquake struck, she was traveling with the team to Adana, which is not far from the epicenter. Contacted by Shanghai media, she revealed: "The flight was canceled and we were forced to stay at the Adana Hotel. We were in the hotel lobby when the earthquake struck, with aftershocks and storms raging."
In a microblogging video, Li Jiayue recounted the scene of the escape: "The aftershock and blizzard caught us off guard, we were on our way to Ankara but there was another 6.3 magnitude earthquake there, the highway was blocked by snow and the wind was howling. I can't predict the future, I just hope everyone is safe."
