At dawn on February 6, the earth trembled in southern Turkey as the aftermath of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake raged on. Galatasaray women's soccer player Li Jiayue, who was far away from home, urgently recorded a video to deliver an urgent message of peace to her relatives and friends.

In the video, Li Jiayue's voice is slightly shaky as she says urgently, "Dear friends, I must give you a safety report. Just last night, a violent 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey, and we were at the competition venue, just a stone's throw away from the epicenter. At 4:00 a.m., it was as if I heard the loud noise of a house about to collapse, and in fear I ran away with my teammates."

She continues, "With the epicenter so close, our losses here are not to be ignored. Many of my teammates were so scared they couldn't stop sobbing. Although I tried to control my emotions, this was the first time that I felt death so close and the fear still lingered. But please believe that I, a strong woman, will protect myself. Rest assured, I am safe and sound."

Since joining the Galatasaray Women's Football Team in Turkey at the beginning of the year, Li Jiayue has been in eye-catching performance, representing the team as a starter for many times.
