
In the latest developments in the world of soccer, the CFA has just unveiled the 24-member training squad for the Chinese men's soccer team for the Asian Games, which includes the core strength of the national team such as Zhu Chenjie, and many powerful young players such as Dai Weijun have also joined the selection. It is reported that the 24 players will gather in Foshan, Guangdong Province for their first intensive training in 2023 from February 4th to 14th. Cai Mingmin, a player from Changjiang, Hainan, has been associated with soccer since childhood. His father, a soccer enthusiast, often took him to the stadium, and his love for the game grew from a young age. Cai Mingmin recalls, "My father loved playing soccer so much that he used to take me to watch matches when I was young. Under his influence, I also developed a strong interest in soccer."
Cai Mingmin's career has taken him from Guangzhou to Evergrande, where he studied at the Zhao Dayu Soccer School and the Evergrande Soccer School in 2010, and where he was selected for the U16 to U23 national soccer teams after 2015. From 2019 to 2021, he was loaned out to Kunshan FC and Qingdao Zhongchuang Hengtai, where he gained valuable experience in the Chinese League B. In 2022, he returned to Guangzhou to play alongside the Chinese Super League side.
Cai Mingmin, 22, a midfielder for Guangzhou, has made several starts in the Chinese Super League (CSL) and scored his first CSL goal in the 23rd round of the 2022 campaign in his hometown of Hainan. Speaking about the achievement, Cai Mingmin said, "It means a lot to me to score my first CSL goal in my hometown. This is not only a milestone in my career, but also a recognition of my past efforts."
Cai Mingmin said that his love for soccer since childhood made him aspire to become a good professional soccer player. Being selected for the national team is the greatest recognition and motivation for his efforts.
