Looking back on the 2022 season, Zhou Jinhui was overwhelmed with emotion: "The years have passed by, and the 2022 season has become history. This year, the epidemic raged and brought unprecedented challenges to our lives. As the only shareholder of the club, I also faced unprecedented financial pressure. Three consecutive years without a home game not only saw a sharp drop in revenue, but the loss of sponsors and partners also made the club's operations struggle. Worse still, the bond with the fans, who make Beijing Guoan unique, has been weakened. Without the fans, our club will lose its soul.
In the face of such a difficult situation, Zhou Jinhui confessed, "In the thorny land of Chinese soccer, I have thought about whether to continue to move forward in the most difficult moments. However, when I witnessed the endless love and support of the fans for the club, the players and coaching team persevering in the face of adversity, and especially the brilliant results of our young players in the U21 League, as well as the promises I solemnly made to the Beijing fans six years ago, all of this has strengthened my belief. Neutralization must be maintained, and Guoan must become stronger, because this is my unshirkable responsibility. Since I have no choice, there is no reason to hesitate!
Looking to the future, Zhou Jinhui is full of confidence: "In the upcoming year, I have the honor to share with you a good news. The new sports facilities, built with investment led by Sino, will soon be completed and put into use. Sino will be responsible for the operation and management of the facility for the next 40 years, and our Guoan will return to its homeland. The integration of the operation of the new sports and Guoan marks an important step forward for us. In the future, we will cheer together for Guoan, for Beijing and for ourselves.
