Sudden news broke the calm on Jan. 18, when Konya Sports Club, Turkey's top soccer competition, announced in a high-profile announcement that former Dalian coach Stano had officially joined the club on a one-and-a-half-year silent pact.
Stano has been all over the soccer scene in China, having coached Dalian Ren, Beijing Guoan, North Sporting and Beijing Renhe. Meanwhile, Sporting Konya's former coach, Palut, was unfortunate to be unceremoniously dismissed by the club after failing to win four consecutive rounds.
