With the curtain about to go up, Hebei head coach Stanley appeared at the pre-match conference with player Yu Yang.
Speaking about the preparations, Stanley confessed, "We didn't expect the preparation for the game to go so smoothly, including all the traveling. Thankfully, the players got some rest. After losing in the last round, our priority was to regain our confidence and get back to our best."
Reviewing the recent situation, Stanley said, "In competitive soccer, two consecutive losses are not uncommon. The key lies in how quickly we can shake off the gloom and rekindle our fighting spirit. After consecutive losses, you should reflect on your performance and keep your faith. Therefore, we will try to get out of the shadow of consecutive losses from the next round of matches."
Next, Stanley emphasized, "Injuries are inevitable and we are always committed to prevention. Some of our players perform well in games and contribute greatly to the team, but injuries and fatigue are inevitable. At this moment, we need other players to step up and it shows the unity of our team."
Yu Yang was also looking forward to the game in the conference, "Hello everyone, some of our teammates were not able to accompany the team to the away game. We flew in from the Sunshine City to Haikou last night and the trip was quite tiring. I think this is a great opportunity for those players who have less experience in the game to work out. We hope that tomorrow's game will reverse the team's recent poor run and reward the fans' support with wins throughout the season."
