Ma Ning, a referee known for his justice and confidence, his impartiality and his equal treatment of any team, became the pride of Chinese soccer at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. This was not only because he was the only Chinese referee competing in the tournament, but also because of his impeccable performance on the pitch.

Maning's justice stems from his strong belief that he never takes sides, no matter which team he is in front of. In 2006, Manning began enforcing the national youth leagues at all levels, his strict style of enforcement displeased many players and coaches, but put an end to all the small talk on the pitch. 2009 saw Manning's first stint as a referee, and he was named Sportsmanship Referee in the same year, and eventually became an international referee in 2011, making his debut away from China enforcing an international tournament.

During the 2019 Wanzhou Four Nations tournament, Manning faced the discontent and provocation of the Jordanian head coach and insisted on fair enforcement of the law, showing him a red card and maintaining the order of the game. His strictness and fairness not only put players and coaches in awe, but also made him internationally famous.

Manning's enforcement style is known for being strict and fast, and he never condones any violations. In the Chinese Super League, his fair enforcement of the law has left many players and coaches in awe. Even after the game is over, his majesty is still inviolable.

In Maning's refereeing career, he has won numerous awards, including the 2016 Best Referee and the 2017 Super League Golden Whistle Award, etc. At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, he once again appeared in the stadium with a calm and confident demeanor, becoming the pride of Chinese soccer.

Maning's professionalism has been recognized by FIFA, and the Football Association has also highly praised him. His success is not only a personal honor, but also the pride of Chinese soccer.

Manning refereed the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers, and in the face of fierce competition and violations by players from both sides, he consistently enforced the law impartially, upholding the fairness of the game with his red and yellow cards.
