During this summer's transfer window, Nanjing's foreign aid Messi Pauly was rumored to be in talks with the Chinese Super League's Dalian player, however, he didn't join the team as he wished. In a recent interview, Messi Paoli revealed that he is fond of playing in China.
Talking about his experience playing in China, Messi Paoli exclaimed, "I came to China to become a real professional. This country is so vast and I spent many years of my career here. Despite leaving briefly, I eventually returned here. I have witnessed the steady improvement of Chinese soccer and the Chinese league is extremely attractive to me. There are so many outstanding players and passionate fans here and I really enjoy playing here."
Referring to sharing a name with soccer superstar Lionel Messi, Messi Paoli said, "It's really interesting to share a name with the best player in the world. Nonetheless, I prefer Ronaldo's style."
Talking about her family, Macy Pauli shared, "I will tell my family about my time in China. They know a bit about China and are relieved that I am here because China is a safe country. I don't have any reason to leave here, I love China deeply."
Macy Pauley has now scored 24 goals in 51 games for NJ.
