On Nov. 21, former national soccer leader Milu chose to remain silent when facing questions from a Red Star News reporter about Chinese soccer's lack of access to the World Cup.

The reporter followed the footsteps into the apartment of Milo located in Doha Pearl Island, a door, the string of red lanterns in front of the eyes as if to tell the host and China's deep friendship. This string of lanterns, once Milo led the Chinese men's soccer team to successfully enter the World Cup witness, is still hanging in the living room in a conspicuous position.

Every detail of the home seems to recall that glorious past, however, when the reporter mentioned the topic of soccer promotion, Milu's words came to an abrupt end, "20 years have passed, you ask me this, I can only say, I'm really not sure ......" his tone revealed a hint of helplessness.

Turning to the World Cup in Qatar, Milo was immediately energized, "I'm incredibly excited to be here, to be in Qatar. Qatar successfully hosted the World Cup and I'm so proud of them and happy that the world and the Middle East had the opportunity to host such an event. It fills my heart with joy!"

Milo believes that Qatar's commitment to the cause of soccer is worthy of recognition, and he hopes that the World Cup will allow more people to feel the charm of soccer, "I hope that everyone can enjoy soccer and the game in Qatar. Come here and enjoy this country and I'm sure you'll feel the same way I do."
