
Canberra United welcomes a new member to the team - the addition of elite Chinese women's soccer player Wu Chengshu - which is not only a new chapter in the Chinese women's soccer overseas study corps, but also an important moment in the club's history.
Wu Chengshu, 26, has previously earned attention for her outstanding midfield performances in the Jiangsu Wuxi women's soccer team. Coach Popovic is looking forward to her arrival: "Wu Chengshu's arrival gives us wings, and I am eager to work alongside her to help her quickly integrate into the team and become a key force in the new season."

With the regular season kicking off on November 19, 2022 and ending on April 2, 2023, the excitement of this league will undoubtedly be on the rise. The title will be revealed after three thrilling matches, when the top four teams will battle it out for the final glory. Canberra United will host Perth Glory in their first match on November 19th. Looking back at last season, they finished seventh in the regular season.
