
On the night of October 25, the 19th round of bye matches of the 2022 Chinese Super League season came to an end in full, with 18 teams completing a total of 21 matches. In this round of bye games, Wuhan Sanzhen won 4-0 against Lianren, while Shandong Taishan beat Guangzhou 3-0, Sanzhen continues to lead the table with 3 points. In the relegation zone, all three teams are without a win. The second-bottom Guangzhou City accumulated one point to equal Guangzhou, but the two teams are still five points away from the safety zone.
Both Sanzhen and Taishan hosted relegation rivals Dalian Ren and Guangzhou in this round of matches, winning by 4-0 and 3-0 scores. With only one win separating Sanzhen and Taishan, Sanzhen continues to lead the table with a 3-point lead. Shenhua managed to hold on to third place after a 1-1 draw with Guangzhou City in Dalian, taking their tally to 41 points.
Seaport climbed to 40 points with a 7-0 sweep of Meizhou in Dalian, leaving them just one point adrift of the AFC Champions League despite remaining in fourth place. Henan moved up to fifth with 37 points after a 3-0 thrashing of Cangzhou in Haikou. Zhejiang dropped to sixth place with 36 points after a 1-1 draw away to Chengdu.
Guoan moved up to seventh with 34 points after a 1-0 win away to Yatai. Meizhou slipped to eighth with 33 points after the defeat. Chengdu collected one point on the road to stay ninth with 32 points.
Tianjin held on to tenth place with 29 points after a 3-1 win over Changjiang in Haikou. Yatai lost at home to retain eleventh place with 26 points. Shenzhen moved up from fourteenth to twelfth with a 2-1 win over Hebei in Haikou to improve to 24 points. Cangzhou and Dalian suffered heavy defeats on the road and dropped to thirteenth and fourteenth with 22 points. Changjiang lost in Haikou and remained unchanged at fifteenth with 17 points.
In the relegation zone, Guangzhou lost in Jinan and are third from bottom with 12 points. Guangzhou City drew in Dalian to finish second from bottom with 12 points, level with Guangzhou on points. Hebei lost in Haikou to remain at the bottom of the table with only three points from 21 games.
