The outstanding performance of Vietnam's youth team in the tournament was a testament to this. In the Group F tussle, they first beat our Taipei 4-0, followed by a huge 5-0 win over Nepal. In the nail-biting match that determined the group's right to qualify, Vietnam beat Thailand with a clean 3-0 win to claim the first qualification spot for the U17 Asian Cup.
Judging from the performance of Vietnam in the group stage, their strength is undoubtedly at the top of Group F. They won all three matches with a score of 4-0, 5-0 and without conceding a goal. All three matches were won with scores of 4-0, 5-0 and 3-0, scoring a total of 12 goals without conceding a single one, which fully demonstrated the characteristics of the U17 youth team of Vietnam in both offense and defense.
After defeating Thailand, Vietnam became the fifth team to advance to the U17 Asian Cup.
