In an Oct. 12 report, the German Football Association (DFB) is reported to have revealed that the upcoming Bundesliga women's soccer season will see a staggering leap in television broadcasting costs, up to 16 times the previous level!

The Bundesliga Women's Football League broadcasting contract currently under negotiation will reportedly cover the period up to 2027, when a surge in broadcasting fees will see revenues pass the €5 million mark each season. However, the DFB has yet to determine how the clubs will distribute this share of the broadcasting fees.

Nevertheless, compared with the Premier League women's football, the Bundesliga women's football broadcasting fees still have much room for improvement. At present, the Premier League women's football broadcasting fees for a single season has exceeded 9 million euros.

The German Women's First Division currently has 12 teams, including traditional powerhouses such as Wolfsburg, Bayern, Eintracht Frankfurt and Leverkusen, all of which have women's soccer teams.
