On Oct. 11, a report by Beijingsports revealed that with the 22nd round of the tournament coming to an end on Oct. 9, the Chinese Super League had to be suspended for two weeks due to a variety of external factors, and is expected to be rekindled again on the 25th of this month.

It is reported that after the suspension of the Super League will continue from the original plan of the 19th round, the subsequent matches will be postponed in turn. The remaining 14 rounds of the season will be completed by the end of December, during which a round of the AFC Cup will be interspersed.

After the U19s and U17s advanced to the final rounds of the U20s and U17s Asian Cup respectively, the squad structures of both teams were able to remain intact. Given that the final stages of both tournaments are scheduled for the first half of the coming year, preparations have become particularly urgent. However, the Chinese Super League will not end until the end of the year at the earliest, and the AFC Cup may even be extended to the intervening year, so the earliest the national team's new phase of preparation may have to wait until the beginning of next year.
