According to the rules of the tournament, the third- and fourth-placed clubs in this season's Central League B will play a two-round elevation playoff against the bottom-placed and second-placed clubs in the Central League A. Tianshan Snow Leopards are at the bottom of this season's Central League A, while Pingguo Hazard are promoted with the third place in the Central League B. If the total number of goals scored in the two rounds is the same or both sides fail to score, extra time will be played, and if there are still no goals scored in extra time or the number of goals scored is the same, then the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout.
