In an interview today, September 27, Zhao Mingjian, a player for Kunshan who is playing in the Central League, shared the origin of the name "Zhao Si".
Zhao Mingjian said: "Looking back to 2013, when the countryside romance was on air, I fell in love with Zhao Si's character in the drama and realized that his image was quite similar to mine. Since then, I started to use 'Zhao Si' as my nickname, which I have been using ever since.
"As I got older, I used to have quite a few aliases, such as when I was in the Dalian team, my teammates called me 'Little Tiger', and 'Hair Sword'. Now that I'm getting older, everyone seems to have more respect for me, so they habitually call me 'Fourth Brother'."
