In the season of spring, the withdrawal statement of the Chinese Second Division powerhouse Shanxi Longjin Football Club, like a sudden storm, set off ripples in the soccer world. The club officially revealed that although the team did not owe salaries, it failed to raise the 600,000 yuan participation deposit in time, and unfortunately lost the qualification for the new season.

Dear Shanxi Longjin soccer fans, in this season of recovery, we have to announce a heavy fact to you. After going through the access audit of the new season of CFA, we regretfully failed to obtain the qualification to participate in the competition, so we must announce our withdrawal from the professional league, ending our journey on the green field. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the friends who cared and supported our club! Although the time was short, our journey was full of good things and the contribution of every Long Jin player is worth remembering. As we part ways, there are a few words that we would like to share with you:
First, we make sure that the team payroll is not in arrears.
Facing the epidemic and other multiple pressures, China's soccer industry is experiencing a cold winter. In such an environment, Shanxi Longjin Club also encountered difficulties, but we successfully completed the season with the concerted efforts of coaches and players, as well as the support of fans, and achieved a good result of 6th place in the league. Under the extremely tight financial situation, we still insisted on paying the team's salary and ensured the treatment of all personnel.
Secondly, our withdrawal was unavoidable.
In the new season, we had planned to actively prepare for the China B League, and at the same time fight for the qualification of the recurrence of the Central League A, to create a new record for Shanxi soccer. However, due to the epidemic and other uncontrollable factors, the club encountered difficulties in the financial chain and failed to pay the participation deposit on time. We have reported the situation to CFA in time and sought the help of Shanxi Provincial Football Association. Unfortunately, as of April 25, we still have not qualified for the competition.
Finally, we are deeply hurt.
In the past two years, Shanxi Longjin has experienced wind and rain and tasted sweet and sour on the green field. We have quietly dedicated ourselves to the development of Shanxi soccer, overcoming all kinds of difficulties and reaping honors. However, at the critical moment, we failed to obtain the participation guarantee, which made our efforts seem even more futile. Compared to the hardware facilities, this lack of soft environment hurts us even more.
