On September 12, Shanghai Five Star Sports threw out a heavyweight report, hotly debating the selection of the national team's head coach, analyzing in depth the possibility of Ola Royo to take over.

Reports have revealed that Jankovic is not in line to become China's men's soccer coach, while Li Xiaopeng has little hope of staying on. The national team management plans to complete the selection of the new national football coaching team within the year. The new head coach could be a foreign coach with in-depth knowledge of Asian and Chinese soccer, or have coaching experience in the Chinese Super League.

It is reported that Ola Royu, who led Jiangsu Suning to win the championship, became the favorite when the Football Association discussed the candidates for the national football coach.

Olaroyo coached Jiangsu for four years, leading the team to win the top flight title and was always a title contender for the rest of the season. He was released from his contract with Jiangsu after the team was disbanded and became head coach of Sharjah Football Club in the UAE last November.

Sharjah is currently leading the table after scoring five goals without conceding a single goal in two rounds of matches. The team has brought in Barcelona star Pjanic and Villarreal striker Paco, while seaport foreigner Oscar has also been rumored to be linked to the Sharjah club.

Five Star Sports pointed out that Olaroyu signed a two-season contract with Sharjah at the end of last year, and with the club's full support for his team-building ideas, it is less likely that he will move to the national football team in the short term.
