The league resolutely initiated a plan to restore the home-and-away system. However, due to various policy constraints, Hebei team could not hold home matches in Langfang city. After unremitting efforts, it was finally decided that the Datong Sports Center Stadium would be used as the home stadium for the Hebei team to make it easier for the fans to watch the matches.
Datong, a key city located in the central region of China, has a long history, beautiful environment and rich resources. Completed in 2018, the Datong Sports Center consists of four main buildings, namely, the stadium, gymnasium, swimming pool and comprehensive training hall, accommodating about 30,000 seats with a full range of functions.
Recently, Hebei Club and Datong City Culture and Tourism Investment Group Co. signed a cooperation agreement, marking the Hebei team's home field for the 2022 season officially settled in Datong. As an important force in building the cultural tourism and sports industry in Datong, Datong Cultural Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd. was established in 2016, and after reorganization in July this year, it aims to build the flagship of the city's cultural tourism investment and operation and the province's strong brigade, to promote the organic integration of culture and tourism with commerce, agriculture, sports, ecology, finance and other fields, and is committed to building Datong into an internationally renowned cultural tourism destination. Hebei Club and Datong Culture and Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd. will carry out in-depth cooperation in the hosting of home games, competition organization and management, business cooperation and development, cultural construction and development.
