On August 13th, the match between Hunan Xiangtao and Dandong Tengyue, the focus of the 10th round of China's amateur soccer league, took a dramatic turn due to unforeseen circumstances. The match took place as scheduled at Yancheng Yufeng Soccer Training Base Stadium No. 1, however, right in the middle of the match, Hunan Xiangtao had no choice but to forfeit due to a shortage of players and other complicating factors.
The result after the forfeit was naturally taken over by rivals Dandong Tengyue. They won easily with a score of 3-0 in the absence of an opponent, and successfully grabbed the second seat in the Yancheng Division's first-place playoff spot. In the subsequent announcement, the official of the China League B described it as follows: "In the 10th round of the 2022 season, the 89th match between Hunan Xiangtao and Dandong Tengyue, due to a variety of reasons, Hunan Xiangtao team finally withdrew from the match. After careful consideration by the organizing committee, it was decided to accept Hunan Xiangtao's forfeit request and declare Dandong Tengyue a 3-0 winner."
