Recently, Oscar's transfer rumors have been surging like a wave of waves, attracting a lot of attention from the Korean media, which have been reporting under the title of "Oscar's China Dilemma".
The report reveals that Oscar's desire to return to Brazil from the Chinese Super League has been met with difficulties. Although he has completed personal negotiations with Brazilian club Flamengo, Shanghai Harbor Club has steadfastly refused to issue a transfer certificate for him.
Not long ago, Oscar requested a leave of absence from Shanghai Seaport and the club surprisingly agreed to his request. Subsequently, Oscar returned to Brazil, signed with Flamengo and appeared in the Flamengo jersey, much to the annoyance of Shanghai Seaport, who were adamant that they would not certify Oscar's transfer.
Dating back to 2017, Shanghai Seaport brought Oscar in for a whopping £54 million, and his weekly salary is a whopping £400,000 a week. In his five years playing in China, Oscar has accumulated £100 million in earnings. Since stepping into Chinese soccer, he has not been selected for the Brazilian national team.
Oscar, who has raked in a lot of money and wealth in China, now plans to return to Brazil. His contract with Shanghai Harbour will run until 2024. Back then, when he left Chelsea, he publicly said, "All players want to help their families by making money," as a rebuttal to questions about him giving up soccer and chasing money.
