With today's fixtures, the battle for the last eight of the U20 Women's World Cup has begun to take shape, with four teams now out of the running - Spain, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. However, there are still four valuable spots yet to be revealed, which will be revealed in tomorrow's matches.

Japan currently tops the group standings with six points, and a draw against the United States in the final round will ensure their advancement. The Netherlands, on the other hand, need a win to seal their place in the last eight.

In Group C, the Nigerian women only need a draw against Canada in the final round to advance. The South Korean women's soccer team faces a tougher challenge, as they must beat the French women's soccer team to have a chance of survival, or else they will bid farewell to this World Cup early.

It is worth mentioning that many fans have expressed doubts about the Chinese women's soccer team's failure to qualify for this World Cup. The reason for this has to be traced back to the 2019 U19 Women's Asian Cup, when the Chinese women's soccer team lost the chance to participate in this World Cup after consecutively defeating Japan and South Korea in the group stage, and finally failed to qualify for the quarterfinals by finishing third in the group, thus losing the opportunity to participate in this World Cup.
