
In the past week, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) has issued four notices of disciplinary sanctions against players in the Chinese League A and B through official channels. It is worth mentioning that one of the notices pointed to the player Cheng Yuan of Jinan Xingzhou Club, who was officially sentenced to a five-match suspension and a fine of 25,000 yuan for a violent incident on the field.
The series of disciplinary decisions were announced by the Football Association on August 10, involving four clubs and four players in the Chinese League A and Chinese League B. Specifically, Cheng Yuan not only threw a towel at an opposing player, but also pushed the opposing player's neck during a match in the eighth round of the Central B League. Meanwhile, Chen Liangui, an official of the Zibo Qisheng team, was given an additional seven-game suspension and a 35,000 yuan fine after he not only accused and insulted an opposing player after the game, but also swung at a player who came to dissuade him.
Also fined 25,000 yuan and suspended for five matches was Pan Chao, an official of the Central B Hubei Young Stars club, who insulted the referee after a match. And Zhang Yang, a player of Qingdao Hainiu of the Central League One, was given a five-game suspension and a fine of 50,000 yuan after he accused and insulted the referee in the extra time of the 13th round of the Central League One match on Aug. 4, as a result.
