
In the ever-changing soccer world, Shanghai Harbour Football Club welcomed two strong reinforcements on July 28th: Issa Kallon, the new star of the Dutch Eredivisie striker line, and Li Shuai, the former Dalian international defender.
Dutch Eredivisie striker Issa Kallon made his official debut, and the news of his joining the team was like a thunderbolt, sparking heated discussions among fans at home and abroad.
Issa Kallon, the 26-year-old Dutch-Sierra Leonean dual nationality player from the Dutch Eredivisie youth academy, joined Dutch Eredivisie Kemble in the 2017-2018 season.In the 2020-2021 season, he led his team to the Dutch Eredivisie title and was successfully promoted to the Dutch Eredivisie. In the 2021-2022 season, Caron shone in the Dutch Eredivisie, making 32 starts, scoring five goals and assisting eight times, and scoring twice against Ajax. He made 156 appearances in all competitions, contributing 26 goals and 40 assists.
Kallon's soccer career has not been limited to the club, as he has also played over 30 matches for the Dutch national youth teams at all levels, eventually opting to join the Sierra Leone national team and making an appearance at this year's Africa Cup of Nations.
Caron's versatility, especially his speed and breakout skills, will bring a new tactical dimension and offensive dynamism to Shanghai Seaport.

During his time with Dalian Ren, Li Shuai has made 111 appearances, scoring two goals and assisting nine times, and showed great form with 17 starts last season.
As a left-footed player, Li Shuai specializes in wingback and wingback, and his ability to get to and from the side and his defensive stability will greatly strengthen the Harbour's left side.
