In the Beijing moment on July 19, the Chinese Football Association officially issued an emergency directive, ordering all professional soccer teams to submit to the Football Association until July 18 an exhaustive list of arrears liquidation for the 2021 season and before and a progress report on the settlement. It is worth noting that if the employees in arrears have not fulfilled the signature confirmation procedure, they have the right to submit the corresponding confirmation documents to the FA.
The official announcement of the Football Association (FA) stated that all professional soccer teams had previously been requested to submit the above documents to the FA before July 18th. These documents relate to, but are not limited to, all members of the first team players, ladder players, coaches and staff who have a formal contractual relationship with the club, and these members must sign in person to confirm the list of unpaid wages submitted.
If the unpaid employee has not completed the signature verification, they may submit relevant supporting documents, with specific requirements including:
I. Proof of identity
Unpaid employees are required to provide a color scan of a valid ID and contact information.
II. Contracts and supporting documents
Employees in arrears are required to provide the labor contract with the club and other supporting documents. Players, in particular, are required to provide labor contracts filed with the CFA.
III. Other provisions
Employees with salary arrears are required to send the above materials to the designated email address between July 19 and July 25, 2022 via email. If the unpaid employee has already signed and confirmed on the club's unpaid salary list, or has reached an agreement with the club on the settlement of unpaid salary and has already filed it with the CFA, there is no need to repeat the submission of the materials.
CFA will scrutinize all materials received and process them in accordance with the regulations.
